The early stages of the 2027 Moon Calendar Sketch are underway! I've been brainstorming different ways to portray the phases since in the past, I've been re-creating the same rectangle each year. After 11+hrs (according to my procreate records) of re-working different options, I've finally landed on two spirals that show the phases of the moon between the solstices.

This is still an early sketch for this piece, but I'm looking forward to sharing further updates with you all as I continue to work through my ideas.

The phases in this sketch are reversed right now but will be swapped around. I've been testing out darker backgrounds to see what i like
