Linoleum block relief print hand-printed onto ~12"x16" acid-free, 60 gsm, Lokta paper with dark umber ink.

Shipping: Each calendar will be shipped as a scroll (not flat). The piece will be secured in acid-free glassine, before being placed in a protective waterproof sleeve. The final shipping container will be a crush resistant, double-walled, corrugated box mailer.

Upon arrival, if needed, you can lay the calendar flat and place a few books on top for a day or so to relax the curves created from being shipped rolled.

About the Paper: Handmade and air-dried in Nepal, Lokta fibers produce strong sheets with interesting variations. The import and purchase of Lamali [Lokta] products supports rural industries and the employment of marginalized workers. Ten percent of the net proceeds from its sale supports community development initiatives such as clean water, road construction, and other infrastructure projects.

The Moon Calendar: 

The Calendar shows the moon phase for every day of the year from the Dec 2026 Winter Solstice through the end of 2027.

Each print is hand printed so there will be variations from piece to piece (for example some areas may look more faded than others, or there may be more or less "chatter" = ridges that show through after the carving process)

Due to differences in users’ monitors, the colors presented are an approximation of the true color.

Each print is hand-titled and signed just below the impression.

The moon phases are technically for the Northern Hemisphere under Universal Standard Time according to the US Navy.
