Printed on 12x12" archival paper. For this piece I aligned the temporal relation of the solstices to the months, holidays, and zodiac signs (but not date specific to any year). The idea is to display this piece for years to come and to rotate it in a square frame every season to see the relevant seasonal events.
The moon phases on the outer ring correlate to the position of the earth and moon (in the inner-most circle) in relation to the sun, and shows how the phases are created, but is not specific to the seasonal events. The Wheel of the Year prints will begin to ship mid-November.
Each print is hand printed and will have slight ink variation inherent to the printmaking process. Some areas may have more or less ink saturation. Prints are signed on the back so that the perpetual calendar can be displayed from any direction and rotated throughout the year.
